Birthday Party

Yesterday was my 66th birthday, and my dear sweet husband took me to Austin, Texas for the day. He had contacted 3 of my sisters and two of their husbands and had arranged for them to meet us as Hills Cafe for dinner. What a wonderful time I had. I had not seen two of my sisters for over 3 years. It was the highlight of my day. I am truly grateful for the wonderful husband the Lord has blessed me with, and want him to know just how much I love him. Those present at the dinner were, Ray and Donna Shelton, Adi and Dianna Obersteller, and Carol Teague. I hope they know how much it meant to me to be all together with them. My husband Lloyd Woirhaye and I were also present, but there are no pictures of him, he was taking all the other pictures. Thank you my dear sweet hubby, and my family.

Lost Maples State Park

Yesterday, Lloyd and I visited the Lost MaplesState Park. We wanted to see some of the beautiful changing of the leaves. These pictures don't even begin to show how beautiful the area and the drive was. It is about 65 miles from here in Fredericksburg, but the whole area is now just starting to change. We had a wonderful day, took a short hike through the park and truly enjoyed ourselves.

Trikke Ride

Today we took our Trikke's to the parking lot and had a good ride. I jackknifed and took a really good spill. I have a hurt knuckle on my left hand, a skinned knee, but feel pretty good. Our kids tell us we are too old for this. I am not old, only my body. They are a lot of fun to ride though.

In our search to obtain relief from the stresses of life, may we earnestly seek ways to simplify our lives...Elder L. Tom Perry

May we learn what we should learn, do what we should do, and be what we should be...President Thomas S. Monson

I really thought that the Trikke would simplify my life, I have fallen 3 times off bicycles, and may just have to give up this kind of exercerise...

Have a good weekend

Election Eve

Today is Election Eve. We will have elected a new President by tomorrow evening. I hope all got a chance to get out and vote.

President Gordon B. Hinckley said: "If the world is to be improved, the process of love must make a change in (our) hearts...It can do so when we look beyond self to give our love to God and others, and do so with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind."

Have a Blessed Day!!!

Halloween Day

HAPPY HALLOWEEN to all my friends and family. It is sort of overcast today and quite cool. We are planning a play day and going to ride our Trikke's. They are a really good source of excercise. We have had a full week. Hope all is well with everyone...Daila

It is our duty to live our lives in such a way that we may be examples of righteousnes...President Thomas S. Monson

On our Trikke's

This is Lloyd and I riding our new full body workout Trikke's. They are so much fun.

Play Day

Hi Everyone,

Today is a great day, we went and voted, drove down River Road and saw 3 deer. We came home and ate and took our Trikke's and went to the church parking lot and rode them. The wind was so stong, that we had to cut short our fun.

To all family and friends

What a beautiful Sabbath Day. The sun is shining and it is cool outside. Will be resting for biggest part of the day. I will leave you with a thought from the scriptures:

And if my people will hearken unto my voice, and unto the voice of my servants whom I have appointed to lead my people, behold, verily I say unto you, they shall not be moved out of their place. - Doctrine and Covenants 124:45

All, have a blessed day
